Spotlight on New Exhibitors

First time Casual Market exhibitors are excited to be here and anxious to show you their products.

Ya Gotta Love Chicago!

On August 7, the 9th Annual Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby was held. At 1pm, 60,000 rubber ducks splashed into the Chicago River from the Columbus Drive Bridge – and the race was on! In addition to sponsorships by many of the city’s businesses, individuals and teams were able to “adopt” a Duck ($5), a Quack Pack (6 ducks for $26), or a Flock of Ducks (24 ducks for $100).

The prize? A brand new 2014 Chevy Equinox or an all-inclusive Apple Vacation.

The winner: Special Olympics Illinois, a non-profit organization offering training and competition in 19 sports for nearly 21,500 Traditional Athletes with intellectual disabilities, and more than 18,500 Young Athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities.
