Two More Casual Manufacturers
Commit to Las Vegas Market

Friday, September 19, 2014, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

Outdoor furniture producer America’s Backyards & Outdoor Living has signed a major lease for more than 6,500 sq. ft. of permanent showroom space at the Las Vegas Market starting in August 2015.

Casual furniture manufacturer Poly-Wood has also signed a major lease for nearly 4,200 sq. ft. of permanent showroom space at the Las Vegas Market starting in August 2015.

As part of the Casual Furnishings category launch taking place at the Summer 2015 Market in Las Vegas, these two companies join casual manufacturers Agio, Hanamint, Tommy Bahama and OW Lee, who have already committed to the market with long-term leases.

These new companies join the casual/outdoor manufacturers already showing at Las Vegas Market including Emerald Home Furnishings, Emerald Outdoor, Kannoa, King’s Rattan, Original Charleston Bedwing, Patio Logic, Panama Jack, Pelican Reef, Ratana Home & Floral, Skyline Design, Somers, Sunny Designs, Sunset West USA, Veneman Collections and Zuo Modern.

Summer Las Vegas Market, which runs from August 2-6, 2015, will debut 250,000 sq. ft. of fully built-out permanent showroom and temporary exhibit space on floors 12 and 13 in Building C devoted to the casual/outdoor category.

“Interest in the Las Vegas casual/outdoor launch continues to gain momentum, with more and more manufacturers signing leases,” said Craig Staack, vice president of home furnishings leasing for International Market Centers. “Bringing the outdoor category to a dedicated space at Market provides excellent synergies for furniture buyers looking for additional offerings to complement their product mix. It’s a convenient shopping experience for buyers as well, and the timing is ideal to acquire inventory for the summer selling cycle.”
