Tuesday, November 25, 2014

Tri State Distributors, a prominent Pacific Northwest distributor of home appliances, hearth products and outdoor living products, in October acquired McNeely-Yuill, a hearth products and grill distributor in Northern California and Northern Nevada, according to Dan Hunt, Tri State hearth sales manager.

Established in 1967, Tri State currently serves 750 dealers in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Wyoming and Utah, plus British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Canada. It has offices and full service distribution centers in Spokane and Kent, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.

McNeely-Yuill is headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California, near Sacramento, and will continue to use the McNeely-Yuill name for the “forseeable future.” Steven McNeely, former president of McNeely-Yuill, is continuing with the company as a consultant.

Tri State Distributors is owned by co-presidents Gary Dickson and Don Dickson, Jr., sons of the founder Don Dickson. The company has 47 employees, with 36 involved in hearth and outdoor living products.
