On May 28, Stûv held a Backstage Party at its showroom/warehouse in a suburb of Montreal. It was an opportunity for company principals to socialize with many of their dealers, and to take the stage and present information about the company – a bit of its past, its present and its future goals.

Distributors are now in place to handle the majority of Canada, as well as a large chunk of the northeastern portion of the U.S. The company continues its search for the proper fit with distributors to handle the rest of the U.S.

Formerly a company specializing only in wood-burning products, Stûv now has gas products as well, and at the May 28^th event introduced its first pellet stove – the P10. True to its tradition, the design emphasis of the P10 is on the fire, not the stove itself. Thus a large glass window showcases flames that tower to the top of the unit.
