Summer Classics Holds Its Annual Garden Party
Friday, August 14, 2015
Summer Classics, a leading luxury outdoor furniture manufacturer, completed its 13th annual Garden Party event on Tuesday, August 11. It was held at Summer Classics’ new headquarters, and dealers from across the United States and Canada attended the event, which introduced the company’s newest product lines for the 2016 season. This year’s event was titled Magic and it included two evening events with a seminar.
Festivities included a dinner for over 200 attendees with a full cabaret show performed by entertainer Lonnie Parsons. The venue was the company’s stunning new state of the art showroom, which was transformed into a formal dining room for the event. Highly styled vignettes of Summer Classics’ new lines surrounded the dinner guests.
The next day began with speaking engagements from leadership development expert Chalmers Brothers followed by Traditional Home magazine senior Style editor Krissa Rossbund, and concluded with retail expert Donna Kuldau. Professional magician and mentalist Hart Keene, a former contestant on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, performed at dinner Tuesday evening.
Co-CEO Dick Cross said, “The excitement from our sales representatives and retailers attending this event in our new half-million sq. ft. headquarters has been even more encouraging than we imagined. Debuting the new line in this environment and with our unique presentation makes all the difference.”
Attendees had the opportunity to spend time with the designs that will drive outdoor furniture sales for the coming year. In addition to the Summer Classics Essentials lines of perennial favorites, dealers were introduced to the company’s exciting new White Label luxury line. The White Label collections paint the perfect brushstroke of luxury and elegance. No detail has been overlooked from finish to packaging. Every curve of the hybrid mixed materials expresses the company’s lineage of taste and grace. The line is designed for exclusive retailers and designers. The products are intended for only the most selective of clients who believe in luxury without compromise.
Owner and founder Bew White said, “A testament to a growing economy and changing market conditions, White Label gives our customers an exclusive luxury experience in outdoor goods. We believe the architecture and design community will most capitalize on this new product category.”
