HPBA Cancels Barbecue Conference
Scheduled for Kansas City

Friday, September 11, 2015

The Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association this week cancelled its planned inaugural All Barbecue Conference, scheduled for Oct. 1-2, 2015 in Kansas City.

Designed for barbecue manufacturers, the conference program featured a variety of speakers sharing today’s most relevant industry insights, trends and forecasts.

Initial industry feedback suggested the day and a half before the American Royal World Series of Barbecue in Kansas City would be an ideal date and location to hold the All Barbecue Conference, as a number of manufacturers would be in town to attend the American Royal. However, it appears timing was an issue for many would-be registrants.

HPBA currently is exploring the possibility of re-launching the All Barbecue Conference in 2016.
