High Country 8000 Fireplace from Napoleon.

Napoleon’s All-New
High Country 8000 Fireplace

Monday, January 11, 2016

Homebuilders looking to gain a competitive edge should place a high priority on fireplace style and authenticity, according to research findings released by Napoleon.

New data affirms homebuyers place an increasingly high value on the naturalness, warmth and, yes, the romance of crackling burning logs. An upscale fireplace presentation is also important to Millennials and others looking to make a quality, fashion-forward statement about their home and lifestyle.

“The trend has been to larger, clean-face, gas fireplaces, but research confirmed our suspicion that a growing number of homeowners wanted to retain the authenticity and impact of a large wood-burning fireplace,” reports Stephen Schroeter, Napoleon senior vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Designing a large, great-looking wood-burning fireplace was the easy part. What was more challenging, and rewarding, was achieving a new and superior level of functionality,” he said.

Among the functional breakthroughs of Napoleon’s High Country 8000 is an exquisitely-counterbalanced ZERO GRAVITY door system that slides up into the wall, heat-radiating ceramic glass, fast-start air induction ports and advanced firebox aerodynamics.

Boasting a grand firebox that is lined with a choice of one out of three styles of custom-molded refractory brick, the High Country 8000 can hold up to 50 lbs. of wood. A powerful air wash system keeps the glass clean while the air sweeps across the ember bed to aid in extremely fast start-ups.
