HPC Launches Flex Line
Flame Sensing Series of Inserts

Friday, February 19, 2016

Hearth Products Controls (HPC) has just introduced a new series of Flex Line Match-Lit and Push-Button/Flame Sensing Inserts for residential and commercial applications. Available with H-Burner, Penta, square and all linear burners, the new Flex Line Match-Lit and Push-Button/Flame Sensing Inserts will include a whistle-free, stainless-steel flex line, SuprSense Excess Flow Valve for added protection against excessive gas leaks, stabilizing mounting bracket, and highly reliable Dante valve and decorative key.

According to HPC President Greg Steck, the new Flex Line Inserts offer significant installation advantages. “The flex line we are using to convey the gas to the insert is just that – flexible,” Steck said. “With it, installers can more easily complete the necessary connections to finish the installation quickly.

“For added safety, we are the only manufacturer in the industry to include a SuprSense Excess Flow Valve on our Flex Line Match-Lit Inserts. Should the gas line rupture, this valve automatically activates and protects, greatly reducing the gas flow. Finally, the easily applied mounting bracket stabilizes the hardware to reduce gas line fatigue.”

The new Flex Line Inserts are certified in North America to the Z21.97 standard by UL, passing the certification agency’s stringent wind, rain and combustion standards. An optional paver block mounting bracket is also available. Call (877) 585-9800, or send an email.
