Summer Classics Home Grand Opening in Highland Park

Monday, March 21, 2016

Summer Classics Home celebrated the grand opening of its new generation of licensed home furnishings stores on March 11 in the heart of Highland Park, Illinois. In December, Summer Classics Home announced the new combination indoor and outdoor luxury furniture store in Chicago called SC Home.

The new licensee carries both Summer Classics luxury outdoor furniture and Gabby high-style transitional furniture and lighting. This whole home concept is in line with emerging trends from industry thought leaders.

New licensee and owner Bruce Erickson said, “Our store looks incredible! The grand opening turned out better even than expected. The SC team did a great job helping us select, merchandize and market our unique retail experience. It’s so nice not having to start a new business alone. We’re in a prime location, and our staff is excited and ready.”

“This is a great marriage of the White and Erickson families,” says co-CEO Dick Cross. “We are so thrilled to partner with Bruce. His flagship location, his staff and the character they reflect are proud additions to the Summer Classics family. The grand opening was spectacular, encouraging beyond expectations, and the future is bright.”

Summer Classics Home is located at 1850 2nd Street, Suite 162, Highland Park, IL 60035; Phone: (847) 926-3069; Fax: (847) 926-3407; Mon-Sat 10-6, Sunday 12-5
