Twin-Star Receives Five Prestigious Platinum
ADEX Design Awards

Twin-Star International has once again been acknowledged as an award-winning manufacturer of fine quality home furnishings and small electrics. This year, five products were awarded the highly esteemed ADEX (Awards for Design Excellence) Platinum award, bringing Twin-Star International’s total to 25 Platinum ADEX awards since 2006. Twin-Star International has also received a total of 16 Gold ADEX awards and 12 Silver ADEX awards over the past 10 years.
The Platinum awards were awarded for the new Powerheat patent- pending electric lantern heaters that come in an indoor and outdoor option; the new patent-pending Powerheat 3D flame effect electric stove heater; a Bell’O open architecture media console with built-in Bluetooth Bell’O Digital speakers; the Bell’O Digital sound bar shelf, and a sleek, white ClassicFlame modern TV stand with an electric fireplace.
“It is a great privilege to once again be recognized with not just one, but several Platinum ADEX Awards,” said Marc Sculler, Twin-Star International co-president. “The goal of our team of designers and engineers is to create high-quality, innovative products that meet the needs of our consumers. Receiving ADEX awards is an added bonus.”
ADEX, the Award for Design Excellence, is the largest and most prestigious award program for home, office, hospitality furnishings and building materials. ADEX entries are judged on usefulness of the application, originality and innovation, technical merit, their effect on the global environment, feasibility of the design, efficient use of energy, innovative use of components, cost optimization and clarity of supporting documentation. The top designs are given Platinum, Gold or Silver awards and are featured in the International Design Journal.
Twin-Star is a seasoned veteran when it comes to receiving ADEX awards. Since 2006, they have earned a total of 53 ADEX awards.
