New Hires at Summer Classics

Summer Classics and Gabby are excited to announce the hire of Marianne Minogue as VP of Summer Classics Retail Stores and Beth Sherer as EVP of Gabby. Both hires are part of the company’s overall strategy to bring onboard world-class management and infrastructure to catalyze further growth. Both executives will be headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, at the new corporate campus.

Marianne Minogue comes to the SC Home Stores from an impressive career as a regional manager with Arhaus, a top 40 furniture retailer. She has a proven track record for improving growth, sales, merchandising, marketing strategy, and client relations. She was awarded with recognition for guiding the number one region for sales achievement and growth in 2015. Marianne says “Our goals will be meeting the needs of our customers while continuing to build on the successful culture and staff at Summer Classics Home.”

Acting VP of Retail, and president of Summer Classics, Bew White, said, “We are all excited to continue to bring on high caliber talent that will allow us to continue to excel. With Marianne’s leadership, our retail business has a bright future.”

Beth Sherer comes in to lead the Gabby brand from a results-oriented career in retail management with emphasis on buying, planning and product development for Bon-Ton Stores, Kohl’s, Sak’s, Federated Stores and Parisian.

Now acting president of Gabby, William White, said, “As I move into my new role as chief marketing officer for our parent company, Gabriella White, I could not be more excited to have Beth come on board to lead Gabby. We continue to invest in great people to lead our businesses and her passion and experience will be tremendous assets.”

The five companies, Summer Classics, SC Home Stores, Summer Classics Private Label, Summer Classics Contract and Gabby now operate under an umbrella company named Gabriella White.
