Gertmenian Partners with
Brown Jordan on Rug Collection

Wednesday, August 31, 2016

Renowned rug designer and manufacturer Gertmenian will introduce its Brown Jordan indoor/outdoor rug collection to the casual furnishings trade at Casual Market Chicago in September 2016. The exclusive line offers designers and Brown Jordan dealers additional options for indoor/outdoor rugs that match Brown Jordan's reputation for beauty, quality and durability.

The Gertmenian Design Studio created the elegant yet versatile designs, which complement Brown Jordan's fine outdoor furniture. The collection is available in six designs in multiple colorways.

The all-weather performance rugs are made of polyolefin tri-color fibers wound in a unique cabled yarn system for great durability with outstanding cleanability. The color-fast yarns feature UV stabilization that resists fading and will look like new for years. The result is a weatherproof indoor/outdoor rug with the timeless elegance and rich texture of natural sisal that will add a layer of visual interest to any space, indoor or out.

The antimicrobial rugs are resistant to stains, mildew and shedding, and thanks to Gertmenian's proprietary EasyClean technology they may be the easiest-to-clean rugs ever. Ideal for patio or porch, they can stand up to the elements all year round.

“Gertmenian's designers worked closely with Brown Jordan on this versatile and elegant new line of indoor/outdoor rugs,” says Peter Gertmenian, the president of Gertmenian. “We are proud to offer superior quality rugs that complement the trusted Brown Jordan brand and meet the demands of today's sophisticated outdoor living environments.”

“We are excited to partner with Gertmenian on our newest collection,” says Steve Elton, Brown Jordan's chief brand curator. “The option of adding-on a Brown Jordan rug enhances the versatility and value of Brown Jordan furniture and gives our dealers a great new profit opportunity.”

The new rug collection will be available exclusively through designers and Brown Jordan dealers.
