Castelle Names Mark Stephens EVP of Sales

Castelle announces that well-regarded industry professional Mark Stephens has joined the company as executive vice president of Sales for the handcrafted luxury outdoor furnishings line. In this role, he will work with the Castelle network of regional directors and independent territory managers and oversee sales flow and growth of the line nationwide.

“Mark is a consummate professional with immense knowledge from years of working in the home category,” said Derek Ritzel, president and CEO of Castelle. “With more than 10 years of experience within Furniture Brands International (FBI), and subsequently the Heritage Home Group, he is poised to make an immediate impact on our business. We look to Mark to offer his extensive industry insight and provide our customers and our sales team with ongoing direction and leadership.”

Stephens joins Castelle following his tenure as vice president of Sales for the Heritage Home Group that encompasses the assets of Furniture Brands International (FBI) including Lane, Broyhill, Thomasville, Drexel, Henredon as well as the outdoor furniture brand Lane Venture. His experience within the home category previously had included vice president of Sales and Marketing for FBI. In 2011, Mark was promoted to president of Broyhill Furniture, returning the iconic furniture brand to growth and profitability.

Stephens is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Communication. He currently resides in Summerfield, North Carolina, with his wife, Ellen, and their five sons and will be relocating to South Florida.
