Summer Classics Launches
New Showroom at AmericasMart

Wednesday, November 15, 2017

Gabriella White, parent company to luxury outdoor line Summer Classics and indoor high style furniture brand Gabby, expands its focus on the interior design business by moving its showroom from the gardens area of AmericasMart to the designer floor. Summer Classics will occupy a permanent showroom space directly across from Gabby in showroom 13-D-15,17. The new showroom will officially launch at The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market to be held Jan. 9-16, 2018.

“We’ve been in the garden area of the Atlanta Mart since 1979,” said CEO Bew White. “So as we evaluate our changing customer base, there are multiple crossovers between Gabby and Summer Classics. Putting them in adjacent showrooms leverages the similarities between the two brands.”

Visitors to the new Summer Classics showroom will discover customized outdoor rooms designed with relaxation in mind. With the industry trend in outdoor continuing to have a look of indoor designs, many of the new introductions in the Summer Classics line are influenced by Gabby.

“One of the highest compliments that we receive is when a designer comes into our showroom and says they can’t believe this is outdoor furniture,” said vice president of Sales Schon Duke. “What we hear our customers say over and over is that they love the new fashion and new design that the Summer Classics line offers.”

This can be particularly seen in the 2018 introductions including the expanded upholstery collections, the more than 100 new fabrics and the increased selection of accent tables and bar carts featuring mixed materials.

“We ultimately think this move will be a great benefit to our customers, especially with the growing connection between indoor and outdoor spaces,” said William White, president of Gabriella White. “We presented Gabby and Summer Classics together in Las Vegas, which was well received by the design community, and we plan to continue to showcase them together in future markets.”
