ICFA Names Morris Director of Operations

Tuesday, January 30, 2018

The International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) has named Michele Morris director of Operations.

Morris, an executive assistant at the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) since 2000, has provided support to AHFA’s public relations and marketing functions for 18 years but has also at various times assisted membership, IT and environmental programs. She was also assigned to a support role for ICFA in 2014.

“Michele comes into this position with a long history of managing a broad range of day-to-day activities for AHFA and ICFA,” said ICFA executive director Jackie Hirschhaut. “She takes tremendous pride in her work and in making a positive difference for the members that our trade association serves.”

Hirschhaut continued: “Over the past three years, she has been a tireless worker overseeing administrative aspects of ICFA. In addition, she has demonstrated her artistic talents in creating the majority of the group’s marketing and meeting materials. Her contributions will continue to play a vital role in ICFA’s continued future growth.”
