Ashley Furniture Opens Showroom at AmericasMart

Thursday, December 20, 2018

One of the largest furniture manufacturers in the world is joining the home furnishings collection at AmericasMart Atlanta. Ashley Furniture Industries opens its first Atlanta showroom in the lead up to The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market in January 2019.

“We chose Atlanta because the timing makes perfect sense now for our growth strategy,” explains Chris De La Guardia, senior vice president of the Ashley Furniture Industries, Accessory Division. “We have always been impressed with the Atlanta Market, its audience, and the vast diversity it attracts.”

“Ashley Furniture Industries is the ideal addition to the product mix and offering at AmericasMart,” says Kevin Malkiewicz, vice president of Leasing. “Its innovative solutions for harnessing a competitive edge in our ever-changing industry are an inspiration for manufacturers and retailers alike. We look forward to continuing to innovate together.”

The Building 1, Floor 4 showroom will showcase more than 6,000 sq. ft. of Ashley product including stationary upholstery, bedroom sets, dining sets, cabinets, accent chairs, accent tables, rugs, wall art, décor, pillows, lighting, pendants and more, as well as some outdoor living pieces and bedding. Buyers can explore and engage with Ashley’s trend-driven lifestyle product presentations and will have the opportunity to view the entire line via interactive kiosks.

“Our primary focus in the showroom is to showcase the broad view of textiles and accents we have developed to complement our six lifestyle/trend directions, and allow our dealers to see how deep our line has become. We have expanded in many new directions across all price points to capture the industry needs for today’s consumer,” De La Guardia adds.

At Market, buyers will enjoy special events plus service beyond expectations, best values and exciting solutions in the always-changing climate of the furniture and decor industry, according to De La Guardia.

“The timing is perfect for us to show the industry how far we have come and how much we have grown,” says De La Guardia. “We are ready to be part of this great market, and excited to engage new customers looking for viable solutions.”
