Summer Classics Purchases the Hill Company

In 2005, Linda Moran purchased the Hill Company from the Schmidt family – and proceeded to enlarge the operation and refine her skills at marketing and selling.
In doing so, she also won an Apollo Award, the casual furniture industry’s highest retail award.
One of her suppliers was, and is, Summer Classics, a high-end manufacturer with 13 retail locations throughout the U.S.
Recently, the Hill Company was purchased by Summer Classics. “I am really excited about opening the 14th SC Home store in Philadelphia,” said Bew White, CEO of Summer Classics. “The Hill Company has been a longtime customer of Summer Classics, so making this deal really hit home for me.”
White plans to remodel the 12,000 sq. ft. space in early 2019, and turn it into another of the gorgeous Summer Classics/Gabby stores.
