Jim Sica Joins Foremost Groups as SVP – Outdoor Division

Tuesday, August 27, 2019

As senior vice president for the Outdoor Division of Foremost Groups, Jim will set the strategic direction of Foremost’s Outdoor product design, product development, sales, and distribution for such brands as Veranda Classics, Foremost Casual, and Afterglow Fire.

Jim comes to Foremost as an industry veteran in all aspects of the Outdoor furniture industry. He is the past owner of Jimmies Rustics, a premiere patio retailer based in Michigan, and a multi-year nominee and recipient of the ICFA Apollo award. More recently, Jim has served for seven years as VP of Product Development for the Keysheen Group (Courtyard Creations). His most recent focus was the 2018 launch of the Patiology brand of Outdoor furniture developed for the needs of the expanding furniture store channel.

“We’re excited to complete this acquisition and have Jim join the Foremost team,” said Jay Yeh, president of Foremost Groups. “He brings a wealth of talent, knowledge, and years of multi-channel experience consistent with the direction of our branded portfolio. Foremost’s Home Division EVP, Tim Anderson added, “Jim’s insight into the development and manufacturing process will be extremely valuable to our customers as his experience aligns perfectly with our goals for Veranda Classics.”

Foremost Groups was formed in 1988 around a simple principle, “To satisfy our customers with stylish, innovative products supported by efficient, friendly service.”

In the years that followed, the company has held true to its mission, developing four product divisions (Bathroom Furniture, Outdoor Furniture, Indoor Furniture, and Food Service Equipment) producing world-class goods that offer superior design, engineering, and value for consumers and industry.

We are a North American company with offices and distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada. Our products do not stand alone in the marketplace, but are backed by an international workforce that is dedicated to quality and service in everything that carries the FOREMOST brands.
