More than one in four Americans aged 18 or older say they are online “almost constantly,” according to a 2019 Pew Research Center survey. Among adults, 28% say they are almost constantly online, up from 21% in 2015. Among the youngest adults, nearly half say they are online almost constantly...

Online “almost constantly”

Aged 18 to 29: 48%
Aged 30 to 49: 36%
Aged 50 to 64: 19%
Aged 65-plus: 7%

In addition to young adults, the other demographic segments most likely to be online almost constantly are college graduates (36%), Hispanics (34%), and those with a household income of $75,000 or more (34%).
