Brown Jordan Previews New Collection at High Point Market

Wednesday, October 23, 2019

Brown Jordan, the highly-coveted brand of outdoor luxury furnishings, is thrilled to return to the High Point Market in North Carolina, October 19-23. This year, Brown Jordan will be reaffirming its reputation of versatile and timeless design with previews of two new collections, Maldives and Walter Lamb Aluminum.

To commemorate Brown Jordan’s 75th anniversary, the brand will be reissuing the original designs from the memorable mid-century Walter Lamb Bronze Collection with modern, elevated materials to withstand the elements. In 1947 the original design was conceived by the founders of the company, Robert Brown and Hubert Jordan, in partnership with the renowned designer, Walter Lamb. Made with salvaged bronze and brass piping from sunken naval ships at Pearl Harbor, Lamb created what would become the iconic collection that catapulted the brand to the national stage. Walter Lamb Aluminum, the anniversary collection, will officially launch in 2020.

“To be able to modernize this iconic collection while still maintaining its midcentury roots is so exciting for us,” says Stephen Elton, chief Brand curator at Brown Jordan. “Walter Lamb Aluminum truly showcases our craftsmanship and timeless design.”

In addition to Walter Lamb Aluminum, visitors will also get a preview of the upcoming collection, Maldives. Inspired by an aura of leisure and luxury, Maldives begs to be enjoyed with its plush cushions and neutral palette. With this collection, Brown Jordan managed to give pieces an elegant, natural teak finish further complemented by the delicate roping.

Brown Jordan has won over 50 design excellence awards – more than any other manufacturer in the outdoor furniture industry. The company maintains showrooms in major U.S. markets, including: Chicago, Costa Mesa, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Scottsdale.
