Maydew to Chair 2019 ICFA Retail Council

Mariah Maydew, president of Fruehauf’s Patio in Westminster, Colorado, is serving as the 2019 chair of the International Casual Furnishings Association Retail Council following four years as a member.

Brad Schweig, vice president of Operations at Sunnyland Furniture in Dallas, caps five years as a member of the Retail Council by stepping up to vice chair.

The ICFA Retail Council represents the approximately 120 outdoor specialty store members nationwide, and provides a strong voice in the leadership of the trade association. The Retail Council is the sponsor of the ICFA Industry Roundtables held the day before the official opening of Casual Market Chicago, and scheduled for Monday afternoon, Sept. 9, 2019.

Members of the Retail Council with terms expiring at the end of 2019 are as follows: Karen Brams, Island Living & Patio, West Palm Beach, Florida; Brian Lawrence, Emigh’s Casual Living, Sacramento, California; Mariah Maydew, Fruehauf’s Patio in Westminster, Colorado; Jessica Salisbury, Village Green Home and Garden, Rockford, Illinois; and Amanda Smith, Patios Plus in Rancho Mirage, California.

Retail Council members with terms expiring at the end of 2020 include the following: Scott Buzbee, ABSCO Fireplace & Patio, Birmingham, Alabama; Brad Schweig, Sunnyland Furniture, Dallas, Texas; Sam Cox, Custom Outdoor Furniture, Garden City, South Carolina; Garrett Wallace, Yard Art Patio and Fireplace, Coppell, Texas; and Mike Robertori, Villa Terrazza Patio & Home, Sonoma, California.

Members with terms expiring at the end of 2021 are as follows: Judy Miller, Outback Patio Furnishings, Marble Falls, Texas; Tom Vielbig, Backyard Living, Ridgewood, New Jersey; Stephanie Stegman, Elegant Outdoor Living, Bonita Springs, Florida; Eric Stalzer, Great Gatherings, Gainesville, Virginia; and Collins Stuart, Outdoor Living, St. George, Utah.
