Pavilion Launches the New "Marina" Collection Design By Richard Frinier

Friday, May 22, 2020

Inspired by the authentic nautical architecture of sailing, motor yachts and cruise lines central to the coastal resort culture of Miami, the Marina collection from PAVILION designed by Richard Frinier sets sail with comfortable FlexStrap seating surfaces interwoven by hand over a classically styled powder-coated aluminum framework. Cleverly embellished with arm wrap details crafted with colorful yacht cord or a Deckor wood-grain cap rail, the Marina collection instantly transports one to a simpler time, allowing worries to drift and the mind to relax.

Marina pays homage to the storied history of Miami as a legendary destination locale for its nostalgic beachfront resorts and hotels in South Beach along Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue. The design is a contemporized interpretation of vintage and retro classic indoor/outdoor furniture updated with an innovative use of durable weather-resistant materials in trending yet timeless, calm and relaxing color ways. The overall styling of the new MARINA collection from PAVILION effortlessly creates a resort experience for guests across exterior and interior dining and lounge areas with its welcoming and comfortable nautical design perfect for hospitality environments.

Versatile modular and individual seating and table designs embodying coastal and nautical themes embellished with authentic design details that are intriguing to discover and comfortable to experience. All seating surfaces are crafted using Pavilion’s FlexStrap interwoven by hand over powder-coated aluminum frames with plush cushions, seat pads and toss pillows upholstered with Sunbrella Greenguard certified fabrics. Arm wrap detail available in two options: yacht cord in coordinating colors to the FlexStrap or alternatively Pavilion’s Deckor wood-grain cap rail design. Marina is customizable in 32 frame finishes and comes with a variety of tabletop surfaces.
